Loop Lamp

Sculptural yet functional, the Loop Lamp lights up a room with its continuous looping silhouette. The hand-built & high-fired ceramic bodies are assembled and wired in house.  The quality paper shades are custom made and fitted for each lamp.  The current batch of lamps are either white or unglazed.  There is currently a pair of white with lighter glazing, allowing more sand coloration to shine through, and a pair with a thicker, more uniformly matte white. The unglazed pair, or our sand colorway, showcases the claybody’s natural beauty with select darker variations, probably due to lamp location in kiln during firing. 

The shades are all hand made of high quality white paper with slight variations. There are currently three sets of off-white shades, a solid toned pair, another in cotton paper with its slight particles, and the third, kozo- inspired by the traditional Japanese paper washi, providing a unique illumination with the mulberry bark particles in the shade.
